This outage should not impact any IT applications or services.

Desktop computers are setup to power back-on once power is restored. Laptop computers will gracefully shut off when battery runs out. If you have any concern with any IT equipment, please feel free to power it down before the outage*, but most equipment should not require any special attention.

*If you power down a computer before 6PM it may still wake up to install updates for the traditional monthly maintenance window scheduled for 10/15, or in some less common situation, the PC may not be able to wake up and the device may miss updates.
