Network/Internet Outage

We have been running stable on our backup tunnel for several days now. Our ISP has repaired the cut fiber that caused this original outage. We will be reverting back the main (now repaired) circuit at 8PM on 6/1. See maintenance details in the link below:

Update
This is still an issue, and we are in contact with our ISP for a resolution/ETA. However, most all traffic was moved over to backup tunnel yesterday. There should be no discernible difference to customers using this backup tunnel. Please contact TechSupport if you believe you are experiencing any related issues.

Monitoring
Two of our internet circuits went down simultaneously (usually one goes down at a time), so this is likely a major ISP (Internet Service Provider) outage. We have rerouted network traffic to a different tunnel; services should be restoring shortly. ADFS is still down in Oregon.

This usually happens when a fiber optic cable is cut someone between California and Oregon. We will await reports from our ISP to determine when we can switch back to our main circuit(s).

This incident affected: Microsoft 365 Services (Active Directory Federated Services (Single Sign-On)) and University Networks (eduroam, Pomona Campus, COMP-Northwest, CHS-Northwest).
